Last Ten Days

i hope everyone is in the best of health and in the state of ever increasing iman. We have reached the last ten days of ramadan, alhumdulillah. We need to keep in mind the significance of these blessed days. In one of the days is a night which is better then 1000 months. 1000 month is about 80 years, so who ever is in the company of allah this night, then they have succeded... and they have a home in paradise. The catch is we do not know which night is the night of power is, therfore we need to worship allah every night, and that is the trick...thats how we can catch this night. On Layla-tul qadar we should be very constant in the supplication " o allah forgive me because you love to forgive." I hope we can make the most of these last ten days. We know that ramadan is leaving, and eid is coming up...but we are still in ramadan and we have a chance to get into paradise and we still have the oppurtunity to please allah. We can please allah until we are alive...but in ramadan there is only mercy, forgiveness, and blessings. We need to stay awake and stand in prayer...almost every masjid has some sort of night prayer and we need to take advantage of that. We need allah more then he needs us. I want to leave you with this beautiful hadith. After a battle there was a women who was taken from the battle as a prisnoer of war .... and she was really anxious, she was pacing around in her room... the prophet (saw) asked the companions what is wrong with the women.... the companions asked her and she told them that my son is out there and he still drinks my milk.... the prophet (saw) said go immediatly and find the child and bring the child to the mother.... the sahaba brought the baby to the mother.. and when she was reunited with the child.. she showed so much love and compassion towards the child that the sahaba were amazed and said Ya rasullah look how much she is loves her child.... and our prophet on whom our parents are sacrified said that allah (swt) loves his slaves 1000 times more then a mother. For the mothers out there, you guys can relate to this more then men, because you know what you feel towards your children... and take all that love and multiply it by 1000 and thats how much allah loves us. Allah waits for us to ask forgivness so that he can forgive us...but we need to beg him and take the first step ppl. Keep me in your prayers in the last ten days and lets get down to what we have to do and lets make a home for ourselves in paradise. The heart needs to beat... and so we stay alive. salaam
