Jack Straw???!!

Who the hell is Jack Straw and why is he telling our muslim sisters who wear niqab (veil) to take it off when they are in the constiuency...why the hell does he care....he said he wants to see there faces....why?? what is that gonna do?? Thats not a barrier.. the sisters can get there point across without taking it off. Somtimes all these ppl who think they r so smart say some real stupid things. On islamonline they have a poll and u can vote, its pretty interesting, u guys should chek out that website. They have good articals for men and women. A sister by the name of Ammina Hernendaz wrote a very good artical about why she wears the headscraf, its very good for non muslims to read and it will forsure better your understand of why muslim women wear hijab.

Yes, today it has been one year since the catastrophic earthquake that shook pakistan. May allah give the highest level of paradise to those who pershied on that fateful day. May allah give stength to our brothers and sisters who were left behind,without homes, and without shelter, and without the basic need to survive. For ppl like us who were not effected by the earthquake, we should first of all thank allah, then supplicate to him and beg his protection from such natural disasters. It is a sign from allah.. ppl wake up do what you have to do, you are not listing to my commandments. Somtimes allah uses pain and suffering to bring people back. Its funny when we are in a good situation we forget the lord who gave us that peace, and we say it was my efforts and my hard work. But when we are in harships and suffering then we pull out or prayers mats and roseries, and we are in the masjid with tears in our eyes.. some of us even grow beards for a little while. We act so pethictic somtimes. I leave you with this ayah from the noble quran. It may be that you detest something which is good for you; and it may be you love something even though it is bad for you. Allah knows, and you do not know.~ Surat AlBaqarah 2/216. And like always...the heart needs to beat....and so we stay alive. salaam
